I am running Version 1.9.3 Build 1040 on a Ambient Weather WS-2080.
the program locked up today and stalled when showing downloading data after a computer restart.
I reset the console and now the indoor temperature reads 120.F and the outdoor temp reads 140. F
All of the other readings appear to be working properly.
Any ideas of how to get the system back in working order will be appreciated.
Thank you!

Re: Reset and Hight temperature readings
Do you mean on the console, or in Cumulus? If you want to correct today's highs and lows in Cumulus, they're in today.ini. Stop Cumulus and edit it. Once today has passed you need to edit dayfile.txt, there's a built in editor for that. Then you can use the other built-in editors to correct the all-time (etc) records.

Re: Reset and Hight temperature readings
Thank you for the assistance. I did end up restoring the factory defaults to the console to get it reading the correct values. I was informed that the software may be corrupting the memory and no solution exists at this time.
I am not well versed in the computer system, so if you could provide me with detailed instructions of how to edit the values I would really appreciate it.

THANK YOU again for your assistance.

Who told you that? Cumulus never writes to the station so it can't corrupt the memory.joe wrote: I was informed that the software may be corrupting the memory and no solution exists at this time.
Can you tell me exactly which values you need to correct? Presumably today's data is now correct?I am not well versed in the computer system, so if you could provide me with detailed instructions of how to edit the values I would really appreciate it.

Re: Reset and Hight temperature readings
The values that I need to correct are the indoor temp of 120F and the outdoor temp of 140F. I think everything else is OK.

I have attached a screen shot of the data.

Re: Reset and Hight temperature readings
The easiest way to correct those is to stop Cumulus and look in the backup folders for a recent alltime.ini file from just before January 1st. Copy that file into the Cumulus data folder and start Cumulus up again.
