Rain Graph Problem

Post by William Grimsley »

Hi Steve,

Is there a way you can "smooth" out the rain graph after editing todays rain? e.g. 7.0 mm to 8.4 mm. Once the correction is done, the rainfall today graph sharply goes up! Is there a way to make the graph less sharp.

Thanks

Will

No, sorry, that's not possible. If you want to change the way a graph looks, stop Cumulus and edit the relevant data in the log file (in this case the 'rain so far today' figures), and then restart Cumulus.

Out of interest, why are you having to edit the total anyway? It's not usually a problem with a Davis station.

Hi Steve,

Ok, no worries. The reason I am doing that, is because my Vue is about 5 m high and can underread in high winds like this morning.

Plus, what log file do I edit? Dec12log.txt?

Thanks for your help,

Will
