Graphs Question

Using 1.9.2 build 1032.
On the Select a Graph option is there a way to keep the graph to the current time. Meaning, when I open up a graph now it's end point is the last time I used it. Either an hour a go or a day ago. When I open a graph I would like to see it's end time as the current time instead of adjusting the date, date, hour.
Also, can the Select a graph be set to a specific time frame? 12 hours, 24 hours etc.

I think there is already an enhancement request for this, so it may get done (as an option) one day.
