Hi All ;)

Hi all, I've been lurking and reading a lot in the last few weeks, but thought it was time to say Hi.

I'm the proud owner of a shiny new wh1080.... I love my toys, if it connects to a computer I want one, and fortunately wifey obliged.

So here I am, connected up and enjoying looking at lots of weather related data, but as yet haven't had time to locate the instruments on the shed, due to working until its dark.
Tomorrow is d-day but I need to nip out and buy a compass and a tea-strainer first... damn glad I did a spot of reading!

When not finding new ingenious ways of wasting my spare time, I code c# windows apps (learning a new language, but already competent in php, bash, awk etc etc), manage some online forums and do a spot of metal detecting amongst other things.
By day I do EDI/Sys-admin/Linux Server geeky stuff but would dearly love an overpaid job as a beach bum. Unfortunately not many of those come up and normally require someone at least half my age.
