Can you customise the tweets that Cumulus submits to Twitter?
Thanks
Will

Hi Steve
I have done what it says in the wiki help file but i still get the basic default twitter feed, can you explain in layman terms ie i am not sure if I put my twitter.txt file in the right place for starters !
Thanks
I just want to add sunshine hours to my feed.

Re: Customise Twitter Output?
As it says in the wiki, you put it in the Cumulus program folder, i.e. in the same place as cumulus.exe. Have you definitely called it twitter.txt?

And do you have the option enabled in Windows Explorer to 'show file extensions'? Otherwise you may have a file called twitter.txt.txt

Re: Customise Twitter Output?
Hi
Thanks it was once again down to me !
I realized non of my files have .exe .txt. after them so mine would have been twitter.txt.txt
Thanks

Re: Customise Twitter Output?
It's a common mistake (hence my question about the file name). I am not a Microsoft basher like some, but why they thought that was a sensible default defies explanation.NoelGlass wrote:I had done exactly that.
