Cumulus wont catch up to WU & WOW

Post by NoelGlass »

Hi

Today i swapped my WS from a OS WMR200 to a Davis VP2 (Happy Xmas to myself :D  :D )

I have spent all morning getting VVP to talk to Weather link and now to Cumulus successfully but Cumulus will not catch up to WU and WOW

I have both intervals set at 5min on the VP2 and in cumulus and also noticed it doesn't update like before when you could watch the clock and time intervals.

I don't leave my pc on 24/7 i just upload twice daily.

Please help

Did you carry on with the same Cumulus installation (i.e. the same data as you used with your WMR200) or was this a new installation?

If the former, then Cumulus should have downloaded the logger data from the VP2 (assuming there was suitable data to download) to fill in the gap from when you last used it with the WMR200, and should have attempted to upload that downloaded data to WU and WOW. If this case applies, then please zip up the diags folder and attach it.

If this was a new installation, then Cumulus doesn't download logger data when you first run it, see the FAQ: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#I.E2.8 ... er_station

If it's still not downloading logger data on subsequent runs (assuming that it should have done), please zip up the diags folder and attach it.
