Cumulus only starts as Admin

If I do not start Cumulus with admin right I get a failure message and the programme will not start.
Is this normal ?
Is there some way of getting it to start under a normal user ?
I'm using XP Home with SP3.
(This is my only gripe with Cumulus !! Its a very neat programme which I like very much)

It ought to run OK under a non-admin user, but I admit that the user I use has admin rights. I'll try creating a non-admin user. And I wonder if this is something SP3 did... What error do you get, exactly?

Steve, thanks for the quick reply.
When I start the error message. From the bug report :
operating system : Windows XP Service Pack 3 build 2600
...
executable : cumulus.exe
exec. date/time : 2009-02-11 19:28
version : 1.8.5.726
compiled with : Delphi 2006/07
madExcept version : 3.0h
callstack crc : $81fc7e19, $80a20401, $29ab3d18
exception number : 2
exception class : EInOutError
exception message : File access denied.
If I tell it to continue it freezes at the download.
If I close the programme it the bug report contains the message 'Unable to write to file \path..\..\today.ini".

I guess your non-admin user doesn't have permission to write to a folder under Program Files. You could try installing Cumulus outside that hierarchy, e.g. to C:\Cumulus

Unfortunately XP Home only has rdimentary rights management and dos not have the possibilities of giving user access to specific files or programmes, as XP Pro.
I have now allowed access to the Cumulus directory for all network users and its working.
Could it be that during the installation of Cumuus the access rights are not set for all users of a machine ?
e.g. Firefox ask if it should be installed for all or only the current user.
Anyway its running - and I'm happy
Have a good day.
