Upload of weathercam image fails

I am in the process of installing a weathercam.
I save a local image every 5 minutes and want that uploaded to the server. The upload is handled by cumulus during the internet update (see appendix, last entry). I set the upload to binary but al I get on the server side is a file of 4 bytes. No matter what I do, it's 4 bytes.
What do I do wrong?

You don't have to process the image by cumulus , and I don't know why you checked binary .

It could be because you have 'process' ticked, so Cumulus is trying to process web tags in the file. 'Binary' and 'Process' is not normally a useful combination.

Because it's a binary (i.e. not text) file.

1) Maybe I don't have to, but I do and I can, so why shouldn't I?
2) And I use binary because an image is a binary file?
Or do I miss the point?
btw : it fails in the processing because the tempfile which is created for the upload is already only 4 bytes.

If you tick "Process?" Cumulus will treat the image file as a text file. This option should not be ticked for binary files.

Indeed, right. Sorry for this
