Met Office WOW MSLP problem

Post by Mapantz »

I just checked my WOW site for the first time in a few weeks an di noticed that the pressure reading showing for me is wrong, in fact the i have no idea how it's getting the number at all?!

Cumulus reads the same as my station, 1010.5mb as i type this. The Met Office WOW site says my reading is 1011.8mb.

I sort of remember a problem like this ages ago and i was told to go to the WOW settings and make sure 'Not Captured' was checked for MSLP while pressure at station was left unchecked. This was fine, it matched official readings and was close to readings from independent stations around me.
I updated Cumulus a few weeks ago and wondered if it's sending something else? Or WOW's code may have slightly changed? Because according to the WOW site, i'm sending my station pressure, yet it's coming up with it's own reading altogether!

Regards.

Cumulus sends MSLP to WOW, so you have to make sure your 'Site Data Preferences' look like this:
