Cumulus Hanging up

Post by KC0WNY »

I upgraded to Windows 8 Pro from Windows 7 Pro, and now my Davis Vantage Pro II with Serial Port Logger, is hanging up on data download. I have to use Task Manager to close.
and BTW, I don't agree with the posters on the Windows 8 Poll, I like the new Version, Just takes a little getting used to, and it loads and shuts down faster.

I think it may be a hardware problem, I have a PCIe serial port card with two ports on it, one port for the weather station and the other for my UPS. it seems when disable my UPS, Cumulus loads as like it did with window 7, however my Virtual weather program and the weatherlink program works fine, and no, I don't try to run them at the same time. I am going to test some more, thanks for the reply.
