Hi Steve!
I have been running a web server (Apache) for quite some time now in order to host my weather station web page, which is based on the Cumulus templates. Everything updates every 1 minute, except for the gauges.htm file, which will keep updating for a couple of hours and then just stops updating, while every other file is updated reguraly (including realtime data).
This is the web page address:
http://whoisthis.no-ip.info:8080/
I have also attached my Diags folder.
Any help will be appreciated!

Re: Problem with gauges.htm update
Can you show me your internet configuration screen, please? Both tabs. You're getting this error:
9/11/2012 10:03:05.233 : Error processing realtime file C:\Program Files (x86)\Cumulus\web\gauges.htmtmp. Error: Line too long on line 140
I'm assuming you've added the gauges.htm file to the 'files' tab as a 'realtime' upload, and I don't understand what you're trying to achieve; could you explain?

Re: Problem with gauges.htm update
Thanks for the quick answer!
These are my internet settings. I have also included the cumulus.ini file.
I am running Cumulus and Apache on the same PC, so I have to specify every file that needs updating (no FTP here).
With my settings realtime files should be updated every 30 secs, while normal updating should take place every minute. Since I have selected the 'realtime' option for every file they should be updated every 30 secs. Am I right?
So, you are saying that if I want my web page to be updated every minute rather than every 30 secs, I should not select the 'realtime' option at the 'files' tab.
If the 'realtime' option is responsible for the problem I am experiencing, I cannot see why all the other files are being updated normally and only gauges.htm stops after a couple of hours, since I have selected the same settings for every file.

Re: Problem with gauges.htm update
You have 'process' set, so Cumulus is processing (replacing web tags with real data) the files that you've listed. But those files are already processed, and this can cause problems (the gauges.htm file has long lines in it). In addition, the fact that you are listing the processed files rather than the templates, and have ticked 'realtime' means that you are copying the same file twice without it changing.
I suggest that you untick 'realtime', and untick 'process' for all those files which have already been processed. You should only tick 'process' for files which have web tags in them. realtime.txt also has no web tags in it.
Also, you have selected the 'copy images' setting, and also listed those files to be copied in cumulus.ini, so they are being copied twice. You don't need to list them if you have selected the 'copy images' setting, that's what the copy images setting does.

Re: Problem with gauges.htm update
Thank you, Steve!
I have applied your suggestions and everything seems OK so far! Hopefully I won't run into any more problems...
Now it's clear to me that the processed files in the Cumulus web folder were updated at the regular time interval and the files in the Apache folder were updated at the realtime time interval, but the file that was updated was the same every second time. Thanks for clearing that up!
As far as the 'copy images setting' is concerned, I see that in recent versions you have added 'solar', 'uv' and 'sunshine' checkboxes at the 'internet settings' 'files' tab, which, if i'm not mistaken, weren't there in previous versions, when I was modifying these settings. That's why I had to add these images manually in 'cumulus.ini'.
So, are you suggesting that I remove these images from cumulus.ini and tick the checkboxes? I thought that the checkboxes at the top of the 'files' tab were only affecting FTP uploads. Or are you saying that 'Copy images to folder' will also copy the solar data to Apache, which was not the case when I last checked... Haven't checked it with recent versions though...

Sorry, yes, I hadn't spotted that it was just the solar graphs that you had listed. Those aren't copied by default.basetman wrote:As far as the 'copy images setting' is concerned, I see that in recent versions you have added 'solar', 'uv' and 'sunshine' checkboxes at the 'internet settings' 'files' tab, which, if i'm not mistaken, weren't there in previous versions, when I was modifying these settings.
