Hi,

I have a problem with FTP. My realtime files appear to be working ok and automatically updating every 5 seconds as requested. If I manually Web Update the other files FTP but they will not go automatically at the specified interval. i.e. 1 minute I have tried 5 minutes, but still nothing.

I am running this on WHS 2011 and FTPing to the same machine.

Any pointers would be gratefully appreciated.

If manual ftp works, and realtime ftp works, then you have the ftp details configured correctly. Have you selected 'Auto update'?

Are all of your sensors working correctly, in particular your pressure and outside temperature? Is Cumulus writing to the November log file at the specified interval?

Turn on the ftp logging, and after an update should have occurred, zip up the diags folder and attach it, along with the ftplog.txt file.

Well what a difference a day makes and a reboot! All is behaving as it should. Thank you.

Next I would like to run Cumulus as a service on WHS 2011, will this work? As the machine will be suspending on a regular basis.

Regards,

I don't know. I do know that a few people are running Cumulus as a service using SrvAny. I haven't tried it myself.
As the machine will be suspending on a regular basis.
If you allow the machine to suspend while Cumulus is running, you will lose data.

Sorry forgot to update my profile, done now! As you can now see I am using an OS WMR200 will I still lose data.

It doesn't make any difference what type of weather station you are using; if you allow your machine to suspend while Cumulus is running, you will lose data.
