Re: setting up my davis vp2 Lat & long
While you can only set Lat/Long on the console at one decimal, it appears you can update the console from WeatherLink (setup) which allows Lat/Long to be input at degs/mins/secs. WeatherLink will also calculate sunrise/sunset and display as shown in the attachment. Hope this helps.

But if you update the console co-ordinates from Weatherlink, does the console actually store it to that precision, or does it round it to 1 dp anyway? But in any case, it hardly matters, unless you want to look at the sunrise/sunset times on the console and are concerned that they might be a few minutes off.

Re: setting up my davis vp2 Lat & long
Steve,
I believe you are correct. In the attached dialog box, I tried changing the minutes slightly, small enough so the decimal Lat/Long didn't change. Result was the WeatherLink software showed a change in sunrise/sunset times, but those times did not change on the console. If you make a decimal change in the software it will update the console, but the console will still not update to the precision of WeatherLink. As you said, the console may end up a few minutes off.
