Moviing Station location

Post by daqddyo1 »

In the summer, I plan to physically take my station 200 km north of its soon to be present location. Are there any caveats that I should be aware of before starting the move?

Unplug the rain gauge before you move it! But it's probably easiest just to take the batteries out of the transmitter and the console anyway, and set it all up again as if it had just come out of the box.

Thanks Steve.
I presume that I would also change the parameters of the new location (Coords, eleveation) as well.

I assumed you would be setting it all up again from scratch, since you would be starting with new data. But yes, you would need to change your location details.
