I have A Vue with the anemometer transmitter kit. The console shows the wind readings fine from the transmitter but cumulus is only showing the wind readings from the Vue itself, there is a considerable difference on a windy day like today.
Does anyone know how to fix this or have any suggestions?
Thanks.

Re: Anemometer Transmitter Not seen In Cumulus with Vue
As I said in the other thread that you started on the same subject, the Davis protocol only allows for one speed reading; there is no way for Cumulus to request the 'remote' speed rather than the 'local' speed, the station has to choose to send it. I'm surprised that having configured the console to show the remote speed that it doesn't also send that to the PC. You're sure you configured it correctly?
I'll check the protocol documentation when I get chance; I'm reasonably sure that what I've said is correct, but I could be mistaken.

Re: Anemometer Transmitter Not seen In Cumulus with Vue
Hi Steve, please accept my apologies for starting two posts on the same topic, i've a bad headcold and clearly i'm not thinking clearly!
Anyhow, strangely it seems to be working now.
I installed a demo version of weather display and closed that and reopened cumulus and now for some reason its showing the correct anemometer readings . I got my wife to read the display while i held the vue cups to verify and its working!
Thanks again for you input and sorry for the double posts.
