Re: 5 day forcast...
I did it to my page with help from this site:http://www.weatherforyou.com/cgi-bin/hw ... k&state=co
It took some trying but you essentially get the HTML code from "weatherforyou" and then insert it into the index.htm and indexT.htm files supplied with Cumulus. Then upload the new htm files to your website.
This is how it looks on my webpage:http://woodlandweather.t35.com/weather/
Hope that helps get you started.

It looks good, glad it worked. Your site looks really nice. Your claim at being a newbie is understating your talent! I wish I could come up with something like that.

Re: 5 day forcast...
I am a computer consultant by trade. So web design and tech stuff is kind of my gig. But this weather hobby of mine is only a couple of weeks old. I am still learning the lingo. The biggest problem for me now is that I haven’t figured out were all of the resources are yet. But this forum and Steve's fantastic software has made it easier to learn that most of my past endeavors.
If there is any part of my site that you would really like to duplicate, let me know I would be glad to help.
You know, it would be nice if there was a section on this forum for people to post there custom Cumulus websites.
I know that some might not want other to copy their design but I for one would be happy to share.
Just a thought.
Regards,
Tony

Looks like his images haven't updated for the last couple of weeks - the trend graphs are stuck back then also.Super-T wrote:bnwrx. Is the picture of the moon correct for your website??

Re: 5 day forcast...
Thanks to both of you for pointing these out! I got the graphs to update, I had unchecked the block to upload images at some time and had forgotten about that. As for the moon picture i don't know why it shows full. Cumulus on my desktop a different image. We are currently in the "New Moon" phase here. Any ideas?steve wrote:Looks like his images haven't updated for the last couple of weeks - the trend graphs are stuck back then also.Super-T wrote:bnwrx. Re: 5 day forcast...
When I unchecked standard files and uploaded to website the moon picture was correct. So what settings do I upload? Standard files and images, just images, just files or neither?

Re: 5 day forcast...
You did say earlier:
You can either modify indexT.htm (and keep a copy safe for when it gets overwritten with updates) and use the 'normal' Include Standard files OR put your template file(s) somewhere safe, DO NOT use Include Standard files, BUT you WILL have to list ALL the htm(l) files you want uploading (including any Cumulus T files you want) AND tick the process box.
If you are uploading two different eg. index files, then the 'last one in' is the 'Standard File' which will overwrite any file the same (site) name which is uploaded first.
Images would still have to ticked.
So are you uploading TWO index files ?... then insert it into the index.htm and indexT.htm files supplied with Cumulus. Then upload the new htm files to your website.

Re: 5 day forcast...
Thank you beteljuice, I am so new to this and do not have a computer mind as most on these forums do. I really do appreciate the explanations, I re-read them many times and eventually they sink in and I get a better understanding. Thanks again.
