Hi,
Over the past 3 years my station has had a strange problem where the display would beep for no reason. If if put some weight on it, it would stop, and it would be OK for another month. The last time it did it, this didn't work, so I opened up the display so I could give it a clean, incase some rubbish had gotten in there.
When I put the batteries back, I couldn't receive any external transmissions (which had been working OK up to that point). Bit more fiddling........
Now the display is completly blank. The touch screen still lights up and goes beep.
Q. Am I doing something really stupid and missed something when I put everything back together...or is there somewhere where I can send it to get it repaired?
Thanks
Matt

Welcome to the fine offset quality control department
Sounds like a bad connection or solder joint and may be repairable if you are handy with a soldering iron and fault finding.
