Youngest son flies to Houston tomorrow????

Post by geoffw »

To any 'seasoned' travellers out there? Youngest son flies to Houston tomorrow and then on to Mexico. Will Hurricane Sandy effect his travel plans?

Hi Geoff,

Does he have a direct flight to Houston? If so, he may be ok.

Flights are being canceled for tomorrow in New York and New Jersey. Currently, there are flight delays as well due to high winds.

Yes it is a direct flight, but there is not delay predicted. I suspect they will wait till everyone is assembled at Heathrow ...... and then cancel it! :bash:

Sandy is pretty much a mid-Atlantic Northeast storm, so your son may have no flight delays to Houston, but it can be a crap shoot at times with airlines!

We got a text last night (after 18 hour travelling) from the top floor of the Marriott Hotel Forth Worth where they are stopping over for the next flight to Mexico.
