Hello
We had a real good rainfall before two weeks and i think that the measurement is not as should be according to my experience with rainfall the past 4 years.I was wondering anyone has figured out if there is a known volume of water that gives some mm?
I found on the net that its possible to adjust the screws of the rain gauge but i prefer to exclude all factors first and then try that. The bucket is clear and ready for pouring distilled water which i think is the closest to rain's density.
I have already bought an infusion set that allows you to adjust the amount thats poured into the bucket.

See http://vp-kb.wikispaces.com/Sensor+Errors3
544ml of water is required for 1 inch or 25.4 mm of rain equivalent.
