Hi Steve,

i think a great feature would be:
a graph for the cloud base on "trends"-page.

What are you think about?
Maybe include the inside temp. into the graph of outside temp and dew point to get free space for a new graph?

Greetings

I don't really want to start changing the graphs in version 1 as it's so much work to do it. I haven't quite decided what graphs will be available in version 2; I want to try to make it completely user-configurable (a bit like Select-A-Graph) but I haven't fully thought it through yet.

I'd give cloud base graphing a yes tick too, or at least cloud base hi/lo added to records. Supposed to be the first day of summer here today and the day has started with 20m cloud base & 99% humidity, about the lowest I can remember seeing.

Don't forget that the cloud base facility in Cumulus is just a novelty feature...

As long as people know that this cloud base calculation is only valid for convective situations, it can be really useful.

Personally, i've always used the 'temp (degC) minus dewpoint (degC), then times 400' - gives you convective cloud base in feet. Doesn't work for 'stable' cloud types like stratus.

So maybe if you label this feature as 'convective cloud base' it might be clearer.... or maybe not!

Anyway, just like to echo many others sentiments on the software, it's excellent. It transforms a clunky Maplin gadget into a near professional tool.
