Vantage Vue with a sense of humour!

Only had the station for a couple of weeks but laughed out loud to see the console flash the message:
ITS RAINING CATS N DOGS.
Nice to see it has a sense of humour - can't wait for -10C and snow!

Thanks Steve - I'll look out for some of these others - looks like it doesn't regard cold as an area for humour, but wind and rain yes!

Many years ago there was a big explosion at the Datsun car plant. Pieces of cars were thrown into the air over a wide area.
It's rumoured people were heard shouting "It's raining Datsun cogs" but personally I don't believe it!

I tried hacking the Davis firmware to give some "fruitier" comments, but I am struggling with the checksums, I'll give it another go when i have more time on my hands...

Yes, I see the "HOLD ONTO YOUR HAT" message quite often when it gets really windy up here.
