It's crashing trying to write today's high gust to the today.ini file - I think the file must be corrupt. Could you attach it here, please? You could try correcting it if there's an obvious problem with it, or delete it if it's seriously broken.

The today.ini file from the data folder. Attach it here and I'll have a look. Or just delete it and then try to start Cumulus.

That's odd, it seems to have written the today.ini file OK, at 12:30:00. Does this crash not happen every time you start Cumulus?

Yes, every time and it won't write to a website, even though we have followed the instructions - I take it because of the bug?

I don't really understand what's going on, I'll think you'll have to give me the full story on what you've done so far. Have you had it running successfully at all - if so, what's changed? It presumably always crashes within a minute or so of starting up?
The error is "Unable to write to C:\Program Files\Cumulus\data\today.ini." which suggests some sort of permissions problem to me. But I don't understand how you have a valid today.ini file if that's the case.

OK, the story so far...
Had it running all fine and dandy, no problems at all. Then, after I did a defrag on the C drive, I started getting this problem.
Your correct in the fact it flashes up after 1 min or so and I have had the "Error" light come up with the folllowing:
Ignoring dubious pressure reading, using offset zero
As for the website thing, I have only tried that today and with no luck!
Many thanks for your help so far

Maybe the defrag has corrupted the file(s). You could try deleting the today.ini file and see if it runs OK, and creates a new today.ini.

Was the internet thing working before, or have you not had it working yet? If the latter, you may have specified the directory on the server incorrectly, that's the most common problem. If you turn on ftp logging and let me have the ftplog.txt file, I might be able to see what's happening.

*Cough* User Error
Helps if you READ the password and not just the 1st 3 letters and think you know what it is!
Steve, this is a great program, thanks for all your help.
