New console and sensor...old wind speed thing

So I have setup the new console and sensor....but left the old wind apparatus in place.

I have had it running for a couple of hours, and for some reason the console speed doesn't match what is showing in Cumulus

Console speed: 2.2mph
Cumulus speed: 3.1mph

Console speed: 1.6mph
Cumulus speed: 2.2mph


It's almost as though Cumulus is updating the wind speed at the same time as the console....I know there's a delay, but it's been sitting at the same speed for at least a minute, and Cumulus doesn't seem to ever show the same reading

Hmmm....quite possibly....but I was certain my old one showed the same values but then again maybe not....I'll check it out tomorrow....sorry for not looking it up, and thanks for the pointer

You probably had the "Gust" indicator on your old console. As the default is the average, you may have got confused.
