Hi Mark,
Bug appears to be fixed. I managed to add the odometer and tooltip to the radar gauge. http://www.tobyspondweather.com/test/gauges-ss.php

That is looking good Kerry, moving the unit's selection to the actual gauges is quite a good idea too (I'm no graphics artist as you can probably tell from my layouts
)

Re: Version 2.0 Beta
Hi Mark,
Thanks. I decided to move the unit's selection to the actual gauges simply because I do not like having to scroll down the page to make a change. Unfortunately, the way I have it set up now, the tooltip appears if you do not select a unit fast enough. I know it is a CSS thing, and depending on how much it annoys me, I may try to work on that next:)

Re: Version 2.0 Beta
Hello Mark,
Almost final: http://www.wheelocknet.net/ss/beta_combo_1.html
You will notice my ridiculuse solution to the Radar compass points language update - just leave them out!
The Radar title switches language because gauge title is eliminated and then displayed in a span on the guage - another cheat. I would eventually like to find a real solution for both the title and compass points.
Toby - I noticed your windrun output does not change when you switch windspeed units - my solution is not very clever so you might want to find a better method.
As before the weather forecast is tied to the #forecastnumber and the language strings.
Great code, Mark - a real pleasure - thanks once again!

Thanks George
I did not even think about having the units change for the wind run. I'll have to figure that out.
Your windrose is not showing up for me. I can see the title and the odometer but not the rose itself.

Yes - I just broke it - now limping along with a jury rig. You should be able to see it now. The conversions from Km to mph are not correct - I will work on that tomorrow.Your windrose is not showing up for me.

Re: Version 2.0 Beta
Hi Mark,
The page update limit is not working on the test gauge page. I usually set it to 180 minutes and in the past that has worked. I changed it to 1 minute and it is not requiring a refresh. Just for a check I set my working gauge page limit to 1 minute and its is not requiring a refresh either. It is possible it is something I introduced.
Thanks,
Kerry

I suspect it is something you broke because it works in my version of Mark's code.
I think mine is now working correctly at:http://www.wheelocknet.net/cumulus/gauges.html?gb . Please, everyone, give it a try and let me know if you find something wrong or something, code or design, which needs correction or improvement.

Re: Version 2.0 Beta
I think it is related to cookies and/or the browser cache. I tested it on two browsers that I rarely use and it is working.

Hi Mark,
The short answer is yes. I sent you a DM with an explanation.

Re: Version 2.0 Beta
Per Mark the solution to the page limit not working is to use the page password as it is required by the script. I had removed the password.
Including a password corrected the problem and my page now has a functioning limit. The new location is:
http://www.tobyspondweather.com/test1/gauges-ss.php
thanks to Mark once again

GW if you use firefox as I do, the gauges on the second and third row are not in the right position.gwheelo wrote:Toby -It is possible it is something I introduced

To me it looks like they are offset.
I tested with Opera, Chrome and Safari and it looks almost the same.
I took a screenshot so you can see by yourself.

Yeah - it is pretty severe. I will probably separate the odometer from the radar gauge div and locate it on its own - So far I am not a fan of floats - mostly because I don't know how to use them correctly. I will work on it and get back when all the soldiers line up for review
