On the rainfall section I need to correct data, especially Last 24 Hrs and Yesterday fields. I have edited dayfile.txt, sep12log, alltimerecords, month.ini, today.ini, yesterday.ini and nothing.
From which file does Cumulus take those files?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Correct Rainfall data
Yesterday's rain total is in today.ini (slightly confusing). You have to edit this with Cumulus stopped, of course.
The rain in the last 24 hours is calculated from a data structure held internally holding the station's total rain counter for the last 24 hours at 1-minute intervals. It pre-loads that data structure from the 'total rain counter' values in the monthly log file (e.g. sep12log.txt). If your station's rain counter has been doing strange things (not unusual with a Fine Offset station) then you may find editing those values in a sensible way quite a challenge (you would need to start with the current value and work backwards). It is often easier just to wait until the problem with the rain counter is more than 24 hours old.

Re: Correct Rainfall data
Thanks Steve,
Well, the error came because I'm relocating the outdoor station and forget to turn off Cumulus. As I move the station (Ambient Weather WS-2080) the rain counter marked rain, so I have to delete those entries.
I'll try that.
Regards.

Re: Correct Rainfall data
It would still have affected Cumulus when you started it up again. The best thing to do before moving the rain gauge is to unplug it from the transmitter.rwrodriguez wrote:forget to turn off Cumulus
