NOAA File Adjustment

Post by avoorpool »

Hi Steve,

I started using Cumulus mid-May 2012.
I adjusted the YTD Rain in Cumulus/Configuration, according the official sources(+122 mm till my start date).
I set-up my NOAA information for average monthly rainfall according the same offfical sources.
My current YTD Rainfall from my Station is pretty accurate in comparison (considering different location), however the NOAA files are way-off. (missing the initial 122mm
I entered in the Configuration for YTD.
Do you know of a way to adjust the NOAA files, so my annual rainfall in the report is more accurate??

Thanks,

Arthur

The NOAA reports use monthly totals, and add them all up for the annual total. So it's not possible for them to include the YTD figure, the total wouldn't add up. Where would it put the YTD figure? The format of the report has no allowance for a YTD figure. If you want to include it, you'll have to edit it in somehow.
