Cumulus Support

I want to change from the current software I am using on my weather station at work to Cumulus. The station has been online 24/7 for almost two years with no problems. Davis Vantage Pro 2, serial connection, feeding WU, PWS Weather, and APRS.

I installed Cumulus today, verified connection settings, but got a 32701 error. I uninstalled and went through the install process again. Verified serial port settings (PC has a serial port not a usb adaptor), baud rate on the VP2 console, rebooted, etc. No luck.

When I launched the other software it works fine.

Serial port connections aren't usually a problem. If you definitely have the correct com port number configured in Cumulus, the only thing I can think of to suggest is to make sure your serial port and your station are both set to 19200 baud.

If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll see if I can spot anything.

I reset the baud rate on the console and comm port to 19200 today and all is well. Thanks!
