Correction of spurious graph reading

Post by franzliszt »

Hi Steve, I've looked over the forum, but can't find the specific answer to what is a simple question I'm sure!! I turn my PC off overnight, and load the data in the morning from my Fine offset. This morning (1st Sept) I have a wind speed of 176mph shown on the graph, which obviously upsets the scaling, and is wrong anyway. I've edited the figure out of what seemed to be the appropriate files, but it still shows on the graph. How do I correct this please? Thank you for your time in answering this question. Regards etc...

Did you restart Cumulus after editing the appropriate log file? It's best done with Cumulus stopped anyway.

Hi Steve,
Many thanks for speedy reply (as ever). As a newcomer to Cumulus, it appears that the "current month" file (currently Sep12log) is the key one to edit in order to clear spurious readings. Thank you for an excellent piece of software.

With best wishes
