Am I able to set the real time interval at 10 seconds if I am using a Fine Offset? I can't tell if it is updating or not. Should the gauges move around every time it refreshes?
Twitter seems to be working now. Who knows with that.

You can set it to 10 seconds, but note that the Fine Offset station itself only updates every 48 seconds (Cumulus reads the data every 10 seconds).

That's what I kind of figured. It had me fooled for awhile though.
Will I have much of an issue if I decide to switch to a Davis? I'd like to keep everything else the same.
I haven't had a single FTP error all day now that I switched hosts, too bad I broke a ton of other stuff.
Thanks again for all your help!

You can just switch station types at any time. The only thing that may need correcting is the first day's rain total.

Steve, Are you sure about this?
I have it set to update every 10 seconds, and I am noticing the gauges move, specifically the wind direction gauge a degree or two. It is happening much for often than 48 seconds. What is causing this? I'm not concerned with it.
You can check it out if you'd like

Do you have any suggestions for another "rapid fire" weather station other than a davis, that plays well with cumulus?
I may be mounting it on a pole up in the air, so I would have limited access to it.
Thanks for the great software.

Cumulus re-calculates the 10 minute 'average' every 10 seconds, so that may change slightly every update even though no new values have been read from the station. Its just the sliding time window over a limited number of readings thing, particularly if you have 'erratic' direction readings which are quite common with FO stations.
