Hi Sandy - could you advise if it is possible to generate a Wind Rose Graph for an extended period such as a Month or a Year? From a planning perspective of building etc it woud be handy to extract the anual Wind Rose for my location?
Thanks Les

You could take the daily dominant wind direction from dayfile.txt and plot it by some method - I don't know if Excel can do a wind rose type plot. There's no way to do this in Cumulus. I'm pretty sure I've seen some wind rose plots that someone created from Cumulus data, maybe someone will be able to suggest something.

Hi Les,
There are a couple of options.
the free option

and the not free option and the one I use
the professional version of jpgraph.

Thank you Kerry the WRPLOT freeware allows exceptional latitude in generating a wind rose. I will experiment with importing (with required conversion) data from Cumulus - Great suggestion
