Hello everyone.

Please have a look at this web page (wa4zwc.net/weather) and tell me what I need to do to get it working right. All I am seeing now is a list of folders, etc.

I had my site with another host and it was having difficulty and now I changed and I cannot remember how to get it working.

I have set it up (I think) according to the help topic and the upload goes well from cumulus. Just nothing there except the list.

In explaining the solution to me, please be as specific as possible as I am not too educated in the art of web page development. :?

Thanks,

Jerry

You need to create an "images" folder.

Your uploads must be going to the wrong place, you probably haven't specified the correct directory path for this hosting, so the 'change directory' fails and the files get dumped in the root of your ftp space (which isn't necessarily the root of your web space). You may have just put 'weather' and you need something on the front of that. It's impossible to say what without detailed knowledge of how your hosting works. When you log in with ftp, what does the directory listing look like?

Thanks Steve. I had a time of it, but I finally figured out that for some reason instead of uploading my files to "weather" directory, it had to be "public_html/weather". I uploaded the images folder and then changed the intenet options in cumulus and it is working well. I hope it continues.

Thanks again! :D

Ah - well done. I was going to suggest "public_html/weather" as that's quite common, but it seems that every time I've suggested that recently, it's turned out to be something else! :)
