I have Cumulus loaded on an HP desktop running windows 7. Things have been working good from the first week of July until this morning. The software has a window that has popped up saying "Downloading Data - Please wait" it has been on the at screen for hours and nothing has happened no movement of the status bar and I cannot terminate the action. Shutting down and restarting Cumulus does not help, the "Downloadig data" window immediately opens back up but does nothing. The only thing I have not done to this point is re-boot the PC. This has taken my WS offline.
Does anyone know what I can do to get past this?
Thank You

Re: Help Please
It's likely that your station has stopped responding to requests for data (a common problem with Fine Offset stations) and you'll need to reset it (remove batteries and USB cable). If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I can confirm the problem.

Re: Help Please
I very new at this WS thing so forgive my ignorant and Naïve statements. The consoles I have with the station are receiving data from the station, don't know if that means anything. I'll reset it this evening (at work now) if that does not correct the problems will see about sending the folder. Thanks for the fast response.

Re: Help Please
When this issue occurs, the console continues to receive data from the sensors, it's the communication with the PC that's the problem.jerryconn wrote:The consoles I have with the station are receiving data from the station, don't know if that means anything.
If you look through the Fine Offset section of the forum, you'll see posts from others with the problem, along with posts about all of the other issues that can occur with these stations.
