(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)

Hmmn, that's not a bad idea, I could use the USB cable to get it out of trees when I crash.
Don't tell my wife but it was her 10Mp Samsung digital camera mounted on the front. For fathers day I'm going to ask for a gopro 2 hero 1080p camera as they're much lighter.
Its a Gaui 500X quadcopter. Its easier to fly than normal RC helicopters, which I also have, but not something you can just pick up and fly straight away (well I couldn't anyway ).
You can get many different options and add ons so depending on what you get it can cost between about $500 - several thousand.

Great video! Excellent flying by you taking it through the trees. I take it that it was you standing in the shelter? Now when the wife asks me what I want as a present I have the answer.....
Thanks mate, yes that was me in the shelter, I was flying it remotely via a small video screen. I use that picnic ground as a training obstacle course when no one is around.
