Get Cumulas to FTP to 2 Locations

Post by SJG1976 »

Is it possible to get Cumulus to FTP to 2 Different FTP Servers?

I'd like to keep a DEV Site up for testing which is running on a Raspberry Pi.

As yet I've not bee able to get Windows to see it using SMB Shares, so was looking to set it up via FTP instead.

Steve.. have you had any luck with your RaspberryPi as yet?

Not directly; but you could run a command file to do the second ftp.

It's on its way, apparently.

Good Stuff.

Got mine last Thursday, have just set up Apache2 on it.

Have now got SABA installed on it as well, so now have My Website Data on there as a backup and it's working good at last.

Something which has been running around in my head over the last few months, is whether or not it would be worthwhile getting a solid state computer, running XP, and then installing Cumulus and an open source web server onto it, in order to avoid the need to leave a full blown PC running all day every day?

I imagine that the power savings would be quite small, but I would guess that a solid state pc would "live longer" than a conventional desktop machine when running 24/7?

When my RaspberryPi arrived, I then started wondering if a linux version of Cumulus might ever appear, allowing me to use a RasPi to both host the website and run Cumulus.

Any ideas (and sorry for going off topic!)
