I think there are other Cumulus users with a WS-2350, but they are probably using a direct serial connection.

I have to reactivate an old laptop with Windows 95 installed, but it has a 1 serial port! :lol: :lol: :lol:
Cumulus operates under win95? :(

hello Steve,

I tried with Win95 and this does not, as you could t'en doubt.
So I dedicated a portable computer with XP-PRO, for this purpose. it has a com port (sérial), so your software works very well without any problems. in fact the problem coming with adapter (serial/usb... too bad).

Have got WS2350 -No issues with bad data on computer although screen display shows some strange min/max figures that are not seen on Cumulus

hello Pat,


With the WS-2350, it must pass directly through the serial (COM) port, (not sérial/usb adapter) and enable the port (in fact the com1). We should not launch the software HeavyWeather but only cumulus run.
Set at least 10 seconds of time between the station and the software, because sometimes you reach a recording of false data.
