Have just discovered Cumulus (via the Met office WOW facility) and love it. I'm not really computer savvy and am having trouble getting Cumulus to trasmit to my web site.
The host name for my site is http://lisa.enixns.com
My web site is www.clearwell-weather.net
The page on my site where I want the info displayed is "Live-weather-feeds"

Would someone tell me exactly what I put in where on the Internet configuration page please|?
Many thanks.

PS Info is feeding through to the WOW site OK

Have you had a read of this in the wiki: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Simple_Website_setup. There is also information in the help file called "Creating a web site" under the help menu in the Cumulus program.

As per the instructions above basically you need to upload a few files and fill in some details in the Internet settings window.

Not that straightforward for your site I'm afraid !

The basic templates are just that, and are meant to be a one-stop solution for newbies.
They are effectively a complete site with their own index page and style sheet structure.

Your site already has a custom style and structure (and an index page).

If you are going to use the 'default' pages (before you design your own) your first thought should be to create a seperate directory to hold all the Cumulus stuff.

Having done that, the easiest start for you would be to link to the index.htm of that directory from your existing pages (new browser window).

Once you are comfortable with the content and how it produced, you can modify or create your own using <#webtags>, or more likely as you have an established PHP driven site, go the way of one of the several AJAX / PHP solutions that are about to stitch it into / compliment the rest of your site.

I have no doubt you'll be back
