settingup Yawcam

I have decieded to use Yawcam 0.3.7 can anyone help me out with what setting go where I know I have to put the link it gives you onto Cumulus under the sandysoft url but that is about it really.

Please read the "Help" files on the Yawcam site. Then ask questions using complete sentences with punctuation.

I have now tried about everything and I still can not get it to work even thow Cumulus no's there is a web cam and a url to it the url's if gives you don't seem to work. When I check the see if you are online box it says everything is ok and it gives me 2 url's a http and a stream 1 says they are both ok.

Any advice Geoff

Cumulus doesn't know anything about webcams, and it doesn't give you a URL. You set up your webcam page, and then you give Cumulus the URL so it can include it in the navigation bar on the standard pages.

I have give it a url and Cumulus web site when i go onto it shows web cam in the list at the bottom but when you click on it it come up not found.

Looks like you've changed it from when it was working and now it's broken. You have 192.162.1.8888 in the link, and that's never going to work.

Thanks steve I dont know how that happend I hope I have not now lost it alltogether just changed it I am only giving what it is telling me to the problem is for some reason I can not check it myself have now changed it to another url they give.

Working OK again now with this: http://86.129.134.107:8888/

It may break if your IP address changes, though, assuming that's your own (dynamic) address.

Please let me know if my web cam is vsable after a lot of messing around for some reason I can not view it myself.

Not working at present but you won't be able to see it using http://86.129.134.107:8888/ as that is your own IP address. You will only be able to see it using your local address 192.162.1.something:8888 - whatever address you have assigned to the camera locally.

Thanks for that I should have said the camera goes of about 9pm and then comes on again at about 5am try again
I am hoping it is now workink ANYONE JUST LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKING THEN i WILL STOP PLAYING WITH IT.
