Extra sensor problem

Post by DSoares »

Hi, I´m trying to solve a huge problem with my WMR 968.

The main thermo hygrometer sensor stop working but I have another one, model THGR122NX. I would like to know if using it Cumulus is able to upload the data to Wunderground.com. Is that possible???

I´ve changed everything that it was necessary according to http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Cumulus.ini but the temperature is still appearing 0ºC.

Thanks a lot!

If you set the extra sensor channel as the main one, yes.
I´ve changed everything that it was necessary

What changes did you make? Did you restart Cumulus after changing cumulus.ini?

How do I set the extra sensor as the main one? I followed this step:

WMR928TempChannel=N For WMR928 stations (and other stations using the same protocol, eg WMR968) to use an 'extra' channel as your main temperature sensor, set N to the required channel

I nedd to put this "WMR928TempChannel=N" at cumulus.ini [Station] or "WMR928TempChannel=Extra channel 1"

Is this correct?

Thanks

No, you need to put "1" instead of "N", i.e.

WMR928TempChannel=1

To comunnicate with wunderground.com I need to use this:

NoSensorCheck=1

If i didn´t use it, there was no communication.

That's because you weren't getting any outdoor temperature readings because you didn't do the setting correctly. If you do the extra channel setting correctly, you don't need the sensor check setting.
