Dear Paul,

I don't know how are the kitchen stores in the UK, but you can use any plastic dishes with 18 or 20 cm in diameter.

Be aware the deepest part of the dishes have enough diameter to house your existing temp/hum sensors.

Also, I would recommend you to have a look to those threads:

My dad made up a model some time ago, this should be lying around in home, If I can find it, I will post some pictures here..

Hi,

I bought mine here: http://isabis-leisure.co.uk/index.php?r ... uct_id=255

and followed the very well written guide by Orion here: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=5023

He also created a PDF document which can be downloaded here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19393276/How%20 ... 20Made.pdf

Hope this info helps.

I purchased one in the picture for around $40 USD on Amazon. It arrived such that it was two sizes once put together. That said I used the smaller/shorter size. The plastic bracket broke after about a year; must have been the sun baking it or similiar.

I also built one using plastic plates (embarrassed to post a picture of it) and it hasn't fallen apart in about 4 years or so.

This may be the best Radiation Shield that is manufactured in Argentina, the material is fiberglass high strength and tolerates high temperatures above 30ÂșC . This material ( fiberglass) resulted better than PVC or plastic on tests we did.
Solar Screen Protection is available also in the version with Cooler and includes automatic timer on and 12V power supply
