Cumulus Website Loading Problems
Posted: Fri 29 Jun 2012 5:52 pm
Hi, can anyone assist me?
First problem post on the Forum - hope I have put it in the right place. (If I haven't then I apologise).
I have set up a new AWS "Fine Offset" (Maplin N96GY) in my garden and got it working first with the Wireless Weather Forecaster Control Unit, then with the Easyweather Software then setup with Cumulus 1.9.2 Software all ok. I then applied and got a Free Website with Glovine Host and after a few teething problems I can now read my Website (www.biggleswadeweather.freeglovine.com).
However I can see all 8 pages but have the following problems with seeing all the info on my web site :-
Page 1 "Now" All ok but cannot see the Moon Image (just a square box and title where it should be).
Page 2 "Gauges" All ok but cannot see Wind Speed and Wind Direction towards the bottom left and centre of the page (next to Wind Rose which I can see)
Page 3 "Today" All ok but "Days since it last rained is showing "0" is this because it has rained most days! Or is it a problem?
Page 4 "Yesterday" All ok
Page 5 "This Month" All ok
Page 6 "This Year" All ok
Page 7 "Records" All ok
Page 8 "Trends" All ok except for missing top and Bottom Centre Graphs (just squares) ie: Inside Temp and Humidity Graphs
Should there be some specific files in the images and dbimages or root folders for these? Or is there some other likely explanation for these objects being missing?
Also when I look at my website from the Cumulus UK Map (Biggleswade AWS Weather) it loads up but the time does not increment each time I load the page! Is it mean't too?
I have my PC connected all the time back at home or it going into a power save mode or something?
I have further questions in general about Cumulus and some ideas on enhancements but I'll bring these up on a separate post in the near future when I've got things sorted.
I hope someone can assist me - I have been really impressed with things so far.
Regards
