First thank you for sharing this software for free.

My issue is with the FTP within the software not working.


I have closed and reopened the software many times and still nothing.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and still nothing.
I have checked and double checked my ftp username and password and still nothing.

Have you tried active FTP mode? Although that normally doesn't cause problems with connecting, to be honest.

Some ISP's limit the number of connections allowed at the same time. Maybe, you already have too many FTP connections established for your account??

The only connection to the server is my weatherlink software that uploads just fine.
So I know that's not the problem.

Perhaps a firewall issue?

What happens if you open a cmd window and use the ftp command there?

Start -> Run -> cmd - ENTER

C:\> ftp your_ftp_server

I have closed my firewall and the software still did nothing.
And yes I can connect to the server using cmd.

Okay hold the Presses!!

It was my bag
In my FTP program I have my password safed.
Well I had forgot one of the characters was upper case.
And of course I put the wrong password in.

OK. I am going to put some better ftp logging in the next release to make things like this easier to spot.
