Cumulus 1.9.3 (1039) Random Time Stamp

Post by avoorpool »

Steve,

For some time I've noticed that there is a random time stamp added to [Today] and/or [Yesterday] for Rain -<HHourlyTime>.
While there is absolutely NO rain registered, all figures show 0.0 and time stamps are 00:00 however in [Today] and/or [Yesterday] it shows "High Hourly Rainfall" 21:47 (or some other time stamp).
Is this know to you? Any suggestions.
It happens after rollover (midnight) that this suddenly appears.
After I close Cumulus, edit the appropriate .ini file back to 00:00, and restart Cumulus again the display is normal.

Thanks,
Arthur

If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll take a look.

Hi Steve,

Please find attached the files from the last 3 days.
Note: I've corrected the .ini files manually in orderto have the correct display. Don't know if that shows on the diags?

Thanks,

Arthur

I can't see anything going wrong in there, and the code looks correct. When it happens again, let me have the today.ini before you correct it, along with the diags files and your current monthly log file.

Ah, hold on. I've been trying to reproduce this using my WMR200, stopping and starting Cumulus, without success, and now I see I've managed to reproduce it without trying. Leave it with me...

It looks like a rounding error caused by the inches to mm conversion. I'l work around it.

HI Steve,

I don't know if you still need the files, but attached are my 2 latest diag.zip files with a recent random time stamp in [today] and [yesterday]. (It's now 2:08am)
[today] shows Highest Hourly Rainfall at 01:26 and [yesterday] shows 13:14 while there has been absolutely no rain. (just sun and 30+ temp!!)

Cheers,

Arthur

You still seem to be using build 1039, and the fix is in build 1041.
