realtime.txt specs

Can someone tell me if the realtime.txt file is formatted in the same manner and order as the WD clientraw.txt file? If so, I want to try to adapt a sidebar gadget made for WD with Cumulus. Thanks for the info.

No idea what the other format is, but the realtime.txt format is explained in the help file.
If the 'realtime' option is selected, Cumulus creates a file called realtime.txt once a minute, and uploads it to your web site. The format of this file is as follows:

well... I examined the two and discovered they are similar but different so the cool gadget can't be easily adapted. Pity...

You know I was just asking the same question myself recently but not for the same reason.
I was hoping to be able to use a couple of 3rd party applications that depend upon Clientraw.txt;
1. Weather Display Live: Great looking set of instruments & gauges
2. MesoMap Live: Wanting to display my own weather station data on a local map of my area
There may be more 3rd part applications out there...I never thought of those sidebar gadgets for example but can see the attraction in wanting to use them.
I thought it was a great idea to make Realtime.txt compatible with Clientraw.txt until I saw there were four files making up the Clientraw.txt family;

Despite there being a lot of optional items (and many that could just have a null or zero value) it still looks like a lot of work for somebody...

I did create a clientraw.txt version of the Cumulus data at one point so that I could do some banner stuff, but it is missing a lot of values. I never bothered with the other 3 clientraw files as most of that information is either missing or not in the same format. Those files include a lot of history information that Cumulus does not on its own keep track of.
With a lot of work, you could accumulate the same type of info outside of Cumulus and then recreate many parts of the 4 file set, but it would be a lot of work.
Note that Julian and Brian worked for a number of years to get where they are now with the WD and WDL products.

Been a long time since I've played with it so it is possible to make it better now.
I created a txt file on the win box and have Cumulus parse it out.
The filename is status-current.txt which I then symbolically link to clientraw.txt on the Unix side.
It contains the tags:

As you can see, there is a lot of padding going on. Also contains some hard coded info like the site location, Lat and Long (which is more detailed than WD provides) etc..

It was good enough for me to use my WD parser for generating Images on Wx-host.com so that I have an experimental signature graphic like below from that:
