Beaufort Indication

Post by avoorpool »

Hi Steve,

Just back from a bike-ride and nearly blown off the bike :!:
Currently we're going through a cold front with high wind (and wind Gusts) between 30 - 60 km/h.
The Beaufort indication is related to Wind Speed and not the Wind Gust.
Is there a way (tag??) to also display the Wind Gust in Beaufort?? (currently around F5 - F7) however it shows F3 (Avg Wind Speed)?

Thanks,

Arthur

That's correct.

No, because the Beaufort scale doesn't apply to gusts.
