Zooming issue.

Post by Queeg »

On my graphs page.
I can drag from top left to bottom right to zoom in over and over but can only zoom out once.
Both the selected large graph and all the little graphs on the page act the same way.
This has left me with several graphs zoomed right in with no way to zoom out more than once.

Is there a way to zoom right back out or to reset the scale. I'm using version 1.9.2 on win7.

Thanks Queeg.

Does this FAQ entry help?

"Zooming out" once should get it back to normal.

Zooming out once only does the opposite of a single zoom in.

I think it might be breaking once you zoom into a single cell.

my daily rainfall is zoomed right in.
When I try to zoom out it only goes from having 0.0 and 12am in the left corner with no other numbers to having 0.0 in the middle left and 12am in the middle on the bottom with no other numbers.

I can't reproduce that. No matter how much I zoom in - beyond the point where it's no longer useful - one drag from lower right to upper left always gets me back to the default state.

Even if I zoom in to the point of having no numbers a zoom out only takes me back to having one number on each axis.

Is there a settings file I can delete?

Doesn't restarting Cumulus restore the graphs to default?

Sadly no. It resets any I can already zoom out on. But not the ones I can't zoom out.
I can zoom in beyond numbers and zoom back out normally on some though.

Could it be a data issue? the two stuck ATM are temp min/max/avg and Daily Rain.

When did you start using Cumulus? If very recently (i.e. the last day or two), then the daily graphs won't be very sensible yet anyway. If longer than that, then you probably have an issue in dayfile.txt and the error light should flash.

Very recently. It only has about 5 hours of data.

Ah it has probably gone from a default number of cells to an auto scale of the data available.
So should grow when the new day comes.

Thanks for the help and patience :D
