I was thinking of ordering this from Davis, but first wanted to make sure it works with Cumulus.

Yes, it has it's own solar transmitter. See attached image.steve wrote:I don't have one so I can't say with absolute authority that it does, but there's no reason in theory why it wouldn't work. As I understand it, the readings from the anemometer appear just as they would if it was connected to the ISS.
If Davis had made it so that the solar sensors could also be connected to it (without having to register it as the ISS and hence losing the rain gauge), I'd buy one.
Yes, but I'd want to connect a solar sensor to one, which does work, but only if you configure it as an ISS, and then you lose your rain gauge because you can't use your 'real' ISS as an ISS.krmidas wrote:Yes, it has it's own solar transmitter. See attached image.
It does. I've been using it with Cumulus since May 2009. You can see it here. http://www.cheadlehulmeweather.co.uk/station_info.htmkrmidas wrote:I was thinking of ordering this from Davis, but first wanted to make sure it works with Cumulus.
