Hey folks.
Not quite sure what I did wrong but I seem to have 'broken' the monthly report for May as it only goes back as far as the 16th->>31st.. Anyway I can get the days before there to show??
I'm sure I copied all files to a .zip during May which could have been the cause but seeking advice on how to be sure and slot them all together for full data again.
Advice is much appreciated

Re: May monthly report
Which monthly report - the 'NOAA style' one? It gets most of its data from dayfile.txt, so you have a problem in there; a corruption of some kind, or missing data, which you can edit back in if you have it somewhere. Zipping up the files shouldn't have caused a problem. as it should have left the files untouched.

Re: May monthly report
Hey Steve! Thanks for the quick reply there. Yes the NOAA style one indeed. How does one fix the dayfile.txt? I shall have a quick browse through it and see if i can spot anything obvious but appreciate advice in the mean time

Re: May monthly report
If it's a corruption it's usually just a blank line which is easily spotted in a decent text editor. Your described symptoms seem to indicate missing data rather than that, though, but again that's easy to spot, either in the built-in editor or in a text editor. If you somehow managed to delete the file on 15th May that would explain it. Hopefully you still have a copy of the file up to that date so can merge it in.

Re: May monthly report
Opened dayfile.txt and there was no data since before the 16th. Found one going back from 23/09/11->>15/05/12 and May displays fully now. All seems fine again so a huge thank you Steve. VERY much appreciated as always in your assistance
