Cumulus Support

While looking at other peoples sites and searching for some backgrounds for my own site, I was surprised to find how many people have a simple colour for a background to their site or other element. While there is obviously nothing wrong with this, I wonder if many people give it much thought or many of the new comers realise how easy it is to change a background image or colour.

HERE is a link to a good free site I stumbled across in the small hours this morning and HERE is another with plenty of textures / images / colours.

The first site even has a facility to mix and choose your own colours and fades.

I rolled my own... used similar on several sites for some time now.

Hard to "see" as the stripe is subtle and close to the background color.

Don't normally do it with combination of text unless the texture is very fine and doesn't interfere with contrast.
