Cumulus 1.9.3 (1036)

Steve,
1) Just a minor (cosmetic) question regarding the new UV tags in CU 1036.
The display for current and recent UV Index is at 1 decimal (e.g 7.0).
In the "Todays High" the display only shows 7
Changeable?
2) I've added 2 graphs and thums (UV and Solar).
Followed the exact same procedure (thanks to 1036 update, the thums size is OK now) for both.
UV thumbs and graph are displayed correctly with up-to-date time display. (src = cumulus/web/images/uv.png)
The solar graph is not updated. However in the folder cumulus/web/images the time display is updated correctly.
Cheers,
Arthur

Yes, I'll change today's and yesterday's highs to have 1 d.p. also (I can't remember which station types give integers and which give 1 d.p. for UV, but I think there are both).

It's presumably an ftp problem, then. But your station doesn't have a solar sensor, so there doesn't seem much point in you uploading the graph anyway?

Steve, could you possibly produce two tags (instead of one), one tag with a one decimal value UV index and one tag without any decimal value - the World Health Organization and Environment Canada suggest UV radiation readings with non decimal values from 1 to 11+

'course it is trivial to round the value in PHP or JS - just saying...

Actually, I think I was mistaken when I said that there were some stations which supplied UV with a decimal place; it looks like they all supply whole numbers, so I'll just change it to do it that way.

Mark, I have been rounding up many values with PHP, including the UV index - thus I know how to do it...
But the idea I was proposing was that, as for many professional organizations, the UV index be expressed as non decimal values...

Steve, the screen of my (and possibly your) Vantage Pro2 console displays the UV index with one decimal point value ... well at least when it is 0.0...

Ah, maybe it was the Davis stations I was think of. Perhaps I'll just offer the option of one or zero decimal places (for display, logging and web tags) and then everyone can make their own decision.

Steve,
Sounds good to me.
Didn't realize it would bring up all of these notes.
Just looking for consistency in data display and not having UV Index Today and UV Index Max displayed in different format on the same page

(either it is "7" or "7.0")
Indeed, the WMR200 console displays UV with no decimal value.
BTW, I downloaded build 1037 and the UV graph is displayed correctly. (no negative value!)
Thanks for that!!
Cheers,
Arthur

I don't have a UV sensor, so it was always going to likely that there would be a few issues...

Steve,
Thanks for changing UV decimals or not in build 1038.
Leaves everyone the choice I guess.
Cheers,
Arthur
