Hello,
After thinking about it, Maplin's £50 offer swayed me and I've installed a 1081 down the end of my garden. Checking it makes a nice distraction sometimes, even though the temperature sensor suffers from solar heating so I need to find a stack of plates to screen it.

Is FatCat a place, or is that you? And are you so big you have your own weather system?
You might want to add some text which says where you are for those who don't want to fire up Google Earth to find out.

Hatch Warren is half-way between London and Southampton. I agree that a location is essential especially for weather stations.b.e.wilson wrote:You might want to add some text which says where you are for those who don't want to fire up Google Earth to find out.

There, I changed it due to peer pressure (adjusted to sea level).
